Ok Ima be honest here, you can argue if you want but I dont care, This is MY opinion. "Debbie" aka Lord Ghirahim aka Lord "Girl"Him is the only thing holding this game back for me at this point. The visuals have grown on me and I'm fond of thrm, The story looks great and Zelda and Skyloft look exceptional, The gameplay has always been good.
BUT Lord Girl home. WoW. I just cant believe how aweful this character is. I mean the character model was bad enough, but now with his flamboyant personality they've just turned him into a flaming hom*osexual. Not that I have anything against gays, But I just dont want one for a main zelda villian. I want to sleigh a dragon as the hero of zelda, Not play an entire game of smear the queer. Its just too much. I mean I dont even want to hit this guy cause he looks like a girl.
Debbie aka Lord of the Brown eye is ruining this game for me personally. I joked a bit in this thread so dont take it too seriously, But seriously I just dont care for this character AT ALL. Worst Zelda Character EVER!!!!!
No offense but ♡♡♡♡ all that Fabulous crap, I want a Real zelda villian. Majora, now That was a good villian. Girlhim sucks camel nutts as a main villian and could possibly hold SS back from achieving the highest esteem as a zelda game in the series because of his overly flamboyant nature.

Give the guy a chance. Sure he made me feel extremely awkward while watching...but he has character.
And you have to give him a few points for originality. But yeah...some scenes in TP were a little odd. ST had was weird cutscenes. But this game already takes the f***ing cake. I feel like I'm going to have to play this game when nobody is there. Else my crazy college friends will kill the entire experience for me. xD They loooove to mock cutscenes and if they saw this game, it'd keep them mocking for weeks.

I'd have to agree. Debbie just isn't intimidating enough. Who cares about what happens in the storyline, his first battle looked like absolute crap.
The whole flamboyant thing does make him a little less intimidating, but I'd happily look the other way in the face of a formidable opponent, which I see none of.

Ghirahim is most likely NOT gay. He's rather asexual, seeing how he's a demon and such. The pre-battle cutscene seems to indicate to a lot of people that somehow Ghirahim takes a liking in Link, showing it off with his really long tongue. Rubbish I say. Ghirahim is eccentric alright, but by no means does that imply that he is in any way sexually interested in Link. While I don't think he's as mad as Zant, there seems to be some delusional behavior he's showing. But that makes him only more of an interesting character, at least for me. I'm dying to see how this relationship between him and Link will work...

Someone on Gamespot said that that the tongue thing is because he's a demon who eats humans. Which sounds like a case of wishful thinking (I really don't want to put up with all that slash) but it was a fair point anyway.

I'd like that very much. Controversial is always a good sign, seeing how polarization is forcing you to think about the game and form your own opinion about it, whereas a game that's mainly perceived as good doesn't necessarily let you do that, you'll just go along with what everyone else says.

We ALL knew Debbie was fabulous. This shouldn't surprise us that much. I don't see why we're debating if he's gay or not. It's kind of umm obvious. Nintendo's taking us way past our comfort zone.
Honestly this is the closest thing I'm getting to an awesome female villain. xD
