Lake Ozark Police Report MONDAY, JUNE 16 At 3:53 p.m., Officer Dale Heiser responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 54 and Bagnell Dam Blvd. near Denny's Restaurant. Upon arrival, Heiser found a 2001 International Truck driven by Charles Dickinson, Danville, had collided into the rearend of a 1990 Cadillac driven by Diana Shropshire, Eldon, causing her vehicle to collide with a 1990 Dodge Van driven by Carl Lamanno of Camdenton. WATER PATROL Charles An 18-year-old St. Charles man was killed when he fell overboard from the front of a pontoon boat and the operator of the boat was unable to stop the boat before it ran over the victim. According tot the Missouri State Water Patrol, Daniel Ly of St. Charles was standing outside the railing on the bow of the pontoon boat when he fell overboard at the 5 mile marker of the main channel in Lake Ozark.

The accident occurred at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, June 22. The boat, a 22-foot pontoon owned by Mountain Hills of Lake Ozark, was being operated by Sandy Cheung, 19, of Maryland Heights at the time of the accident. The Water Patrol said dragging operations were initiated and will continue until the body is recovered. Damage to the boat was estimated at $200.

Private property accident, accident report taken. man drowns in lake ken ribs; and passenger Jason Atkinson, 43, of Osage Beach suffered a broken left hip in the accident. The accident occurred as Garcia was operating a 25-foot Outlaw owned by Big Thunder Marina of Osage Beach when it struck a large wave and tumbled end over end in the water. One subject was ejected into the water and both were rescued by passersby. Garcia was cited for careless and imprudent operation of the boat.

Damage to the boat was estimated at $2,000. SCARAB, RINKER COLLIDE The Water Patrol reported a twoboat collision that occurred at midnight Saturday, June 21, at the 5 mile mark of the main channel in Lake Ozark. The patrol reported that due to poor visibility a 27-foot Scarab, driven by Linnea Osment, 32, of Lake Ozark, collided with a 33-foot Rinker operated by Timothy O'Brien, 63, of Leawood, Kan. The report indicated that the operators of the two boats did not see each other until the last minute and were unable to avoid the collision. Extensive damage was sustained by both vessels.

The Scarab was owned by Cary Osment, 40, of Lake Ozark; and the Rinker was owned by O'Brien. WATERSKIING ACCIDENT The patrol also reported that Jason Haefeli, 25, of Warson Woods suffered a broken right femur and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital as the result of a waterskiing accident Saturday evening, June 21. The report said the accident occurred at 8:10 p.m. at the 13 mile marker of the Big Niangua Arm in Camdenton. The accident occurred as Haefeli, a water skier behind a 2002 Searay operated by Jason Dietz, 25, of St. Louis, was attempting to get on the wake board as the boat started moving, and felt his leg pop.

The boat was owned by Robert Teak of St. Louis. TWO-BOAT COLLISION No injuries were reported from a two-boat collision at 12:29 a.m., Sunday, June 22, at the 18.5 mile marker in Osage Beach. The water patrol reports that a 1987 Champion bass boat, operated by Joseph B. Anderson, 51, of St.

Louis, was idling into a cove when it was struck by a 2000 Searay Cruiser driven by Michael J. Roberts, 48, of St. Louis. The impact ejected Anderson and his passenger, Donald Wisdom, 48, of St. Clair, from the boat.

The bass boat was totalled in the accident, with $7,500 in estimated damage. The Searay Cruiser sustained scratches to the bow area. summons to a 47-year old woman for allowing her dog to run at large. FRIDAY, JUNE 20 At 10:50 p.m., officer Bob Grider responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bagnell Dam Blvd. near the Star Hotel.

Upon arrival he found a 1999 Chevrolet pickup driven by Franklin Linton, Macks Creek, collided into the rearend of a 1999 Toyota Four Runner driven by Brandi Hodits, Camdenton. There were no apparent injuries and minor damage to both vehicles. At 11:59 p.m., Patrick responded to a fight in progress near 1265 Bagnell Dam Blvd. Upon arrival Patrick observed two males fighting. Both males, a 22 year old from Hannibal and a 17-year old from Plano, were arrested for fighting in public.
